Each order is individually hand packed so processing times can vary. We strive to ship an order within 3 working days. Shipping times depend on Canada Post, and because we're based on a small island this can take a little longer than a package shipped from an urban center. Canada Post's estimated shipping times are shown along with the carrier options on the Shipping step of our shopping cart checkout. Public Holidays may delay shipping times.
At Gathering Place Trading we guarantee the quality of our products and strive to ensure that every order meets and exceed our customers' expectations for freshness, flavour and quality. If there are any products in your order that have qualitative defects, we will gladly refund or replace the affected product.
Shipping fees are in addition to the order and are paid for by the customer at the time of order. We do not refund postage or pay for the return postage. All orders are shipped expedited via Canada Post, freight prepaid. All prices are in Canadian dollars. Merchandise will be invoiced at the prices in effect on the date of shipping.
We will ship anywhere in the world, all shipping costs outside of Canada are paid for by the customer. International orders must be prepaid before items will be shipped.
Duties and Taxation - Gathering Place Trading Company is not responsible for any duties, taxes or other associated import fees that your country may impose. These additional costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Please be aware that International Customs can hold your order for reasons that they may feel is warranted. These held up orders are not the responsibility of Gathering Place Trading.
All personal information that we collect through our web site and email contacts is kept private and confidential, and is never shared with other companies. This includes the information you send when you place an order or sign up for an account on our web site, and well as your email address or any other details that are included if you contact us through our contact page. If you have a customer account, you can view and edit your details at the My Account > Personal Information and My Account > Addresses pages. If not, you can also request to view, update, or delete the personal information we have on file by email through our contact page.
Because we start to process your order upon receiving it, we can only accept cancellations received by 2PM (Pacific Time) the same day. If you are unable to submit your order cancellation before the deadline you may return the parcel in usable condition for a refund or credit of the product cost, as well as an additional restocking fee. We do not offer a refund on any shipping costs incurred.
Out of Stock:
Occasionally we run out of stock on particular items. We will issue an "Out Of Stock" notice on your invoice. If you receive an "Out Of Stock" notice on your invoice, we ask you to please reorder that item at a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience, and do our best to keep this from happening.
