
Ingredients
- ½ cup Gathering Place basil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup pine nuts
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp Gathering Place parsley
- ¼ tsp Gathering Place sea salt
- to taste Gathering Place black pepper
- Optional:
- ¼ cup Cream
Instructions
- Toast pine nuts in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until it is a well combined paste, adding more olive oil if necessary.
- Cook pasta in a large pot of water until done. Drain and mix in pesto.
- Use over pasta, as sauce on pizza, spread on crackers or baguette.
