Quick and Easy Pizza

Olive Cheese Easy Pizza


  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 2 cups flour, plus more for kneading and dusting your work surfaces
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, less if you only have table salt handy
  • ½ tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons cornmeal, optional


  1. Preheat the oven to 450º.
  2. In a medium size mixing bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Add the yeast and let it sit for 3-5 minutes until it starts to bubble.
  3. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil. Stir to combine.
  4. Knead the dough for about 3-4 minutes in the bowl, until it has a nice, smooth texture.
  5. Cover it with a damp kitchen towel and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  6. Now get your pizza toppings ready.
  7. Oil pizza pan and dust with a little cornmeal.
  8. Once the toppings are ready, divide the dough in half and shape it into a circle on your prepared pizza pan.
  9. Add your toppings.
  10. Bake until golden brown – approx. 15-20 minutes.
