  1. Slice the vanilla beans down the center length wise and chop into 1 inch pieces.
  2. Pour alcohol into a glass jar. Put the cut beans in the alcohol and push them down until they are completely covered.
  3. Tightly cover the jar and shake well.
  4. Store in a cool dry place for six weeks.
  5. Give the bottle a good shake once a week.
  6. After this time, strain the extract through cheesecloth or sieve.
  7. Store in a glass bottle.
  8. Use freely, it’s delicious and easy!
