At Gathering Place Trading, your health and trust are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that clean, safe food should be a right—not a luxury—and we’re committed to ensuring our products meet high standards for safety and quality.
Every product we offer is tested to rigorous microbiological standards by accredited third party laboratories, including screening for E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, yeast, mold, and total plate count (TPC). We're also expanding our heavy metal testing, which is already routinely carried out on key ingredients like Turmeric, Cinnamon, Cayenne Chili, Cumin, Coriander, Fennel, Garlic, Onion, and our Antarctic Pure Sea Salt.
All of our products are proudly certified organic - with the exception of Sea Salt and BC Kelp, which are not eligible for organic certification under the Canadian Organic Regime. To further protect organic integrity, the majority of our products are tested for pesticide residues.
