Made from a hand-blended mix of Brazilian Yerba Mate and Organic Rooibos tea leaves, this tea is highly nutritious and also stimulating.

The energizing effects of Yerba Maté provide a sustained upliftment without the jittery side effects associated with coffee. Our Maté is fresh, bright green and nutrient dense – the purest you can get – and grown ethically and sustainably by small scale farmers in Brazil.

How can you say no to a tea that literally means YES? Yebo!, or “yes” in Zulu, wakes the mind but calms the nerves. A favourite among die-hard tea drinkers, Yebo! is the morning tea of our family.

Rooibos tea was the first product we ever imported. If you love stories of fate and serendipity, check out our origin story! For the last 20 years, we've partnered with the same multi-generational family farm in the Cederberg Mountains of South Africa. The farmers, Frans and Gerda, are deeply invested in care of the land: they harvest by hand, ferment in small batches, and sun-dry their Rooibos. We are proud to partner with these amazing people and to offer you the best tasting and most ethically-sourced Rooibos on the planet!

About Yerba Mate and Our Brazilian Supplier

Yerba Maté comes from a native South American tree, the leaves of which are harvested and dried to make a nourishing tea. It is naturally caffeinated and loaded with vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and polyphenols. Gathering Place Yerba Maté is grown ethically and sustainably on small scale farms in Brazil. We hand blend this Yerba Maté with the Rooibos in small batches and then hand package our Yebo in-house on Vancouver Island, in Campbell River, BC.
