Organic Chai Rooibos Tea blends our certified organic rooibos from South Africa with organic spices sourced from India, Honduras, and Sri Lanka. Described as warming, fragrant, and inviting, our chai rooibos tea offers a deep, comforting flavour without caffeine, making it easy to enjoy any time of day.

We hand blend this tea ourselves and don’t skimp on the spices. In fact, this chai rooibos tea is made with roughly half tea and half spices, creating a full-bodied, richly spiced cup. The blend includes true cinnamon, ginger, fennel, clove, black pepper, and cardamom, each carefully handled to preserve its natural oils and aromatic depth.

Smooth and naturally caffeine-free, our rooibos chai brews to a dark, rich colour with layered spice and gentle warmth.

Our tea blend is crafted with care from origin to final packaging. Hand packed on Vancouver Island, BC, our chai rooibos tea is a comforting, everyday staple that brings warmth, depth, and a gentle spice to your cup.

Ingredients

Organic Rooibos*, True Cinnamon*, Fennel, Ginger*, Cardamom*, Black Pepper*, Cloves*

Rooibos Chai can be made in several different ways. The traditional way is by boiling a pot of water on the stovetop and adding 1 tsp per cup of water. Bring the water to a boil and then simmer for a minimum of 10 minutes. Pour through a tea strainer (or small sieve) into a mug, adding milk or sweetener to taste. This results in a strong tasting brew that can be easily re-warmed. Milk and sweetener can be added to the pot on the stove top as well.

Steeping Instructions

Boil water to 212 °F and add 1 tbsp per mug of tea to your favourite tea infuser or tea pot. Steep loose tea for 5-10 minutes and enjoy!
