Processing times
Each order is individually hand packed so processing times can vary. We are pretty speedy and usually ship an order within 1-3 working days. Shipping times depend on Canada Post & couriers. Public Holidays may delay shipping times.
Return Policy
As a Canadian, family-owned company, we are committed to delivering products that reflect our highest standards of freshness, purity, and flavour. We carefully source from partner farms around the world through long-standing, ethical relationships, and we stand behind every product we offer. If any item in your order does not meet our quality promise, we will gladly replace it or issue a full refund.
For returns that are not related to product quality, such as ordering in error or a change of preference, we want to be transparent that our payment processor retains a non-refundable transaction fee of approximately 2.5 percent. As these fees are not returned to us, the refund amount may be subject to a deduction to cover processing costs.

Shipping
We offer free shipping on orders over $75 within BC and Alberta. All other Canadian provinces receive free shipping on orders over $100. We will ship anywhere in the world (temporarily excluding the US, please see Shipping for more details), all shipping costs outside of Canada are paid for by the customer.
Orders are shipped through a variety of courier companies, available for you to choose from during your check out process.
We have chosen to be transparent in our pricing and shipping costs; sourcing the best rates and passing them along to you.
Gathering Place Trading is not responsible for any duties, taxes or other associated import fees that your country may impose. These additional costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Please be aware that International Customs can hold your order for reasons that they may feel is warranted. These held up orders are not the responsibility of Gathering Place Trading.
We do not refund postage or pay for the return postage.

All personal information that we collect through our web site and email contacts is kept private and confidential, and is never shared with anyone. Ever. For real!
Cancellations
Sorry, once an order has been placed, it is final. Please carefully look over your order before submitting. However, if you place an order and realize there is a mistake, reach out ASAP via email or call us at 250-287-7571 and if it has not been shipped yet, we will do our best to meet your needs. We do not offer a refund on any shipping costs incurred.
