Our Antarctic Pure Sea Salt & BC Kelp is a savoury blend of mineral rich sea salt and sustainably wildcrafted British Columbia kelp, creating a naturally flavourful seasoning for everyday cooking.

Our sea salt begins in the Antarctic Ocean, carried north by the Benguela Current along South Africa’s west coast. As it travels, the ice cold ocean water filters slowly through layers of ancient seashell beds and sand, collecting in a rare underground saltwater aquifer where it is gently purified over time. From there, the mineral rich brine is brought to the surface and left to slowly sun and wind dry by nature.

Naturally containing over 80 trace minerals, our Antarctic sea salt has been independently tested to confirm a rich mineral spectrum, including approximately 4,300 ppm magnesium, 1,500 ppm calcium, and 1,300 ppm potassium, contributing to its naturally mineral rich composition.

Our BC kelp in this beautiful blend is sustainably hand harvested along the coast of British Columbia, bringing a naturally savoury ocean flavour and additional trace minerals to this truly mineral rich seasoning.

Thoughtfully sourced, additive free and hand packed on Vancouver Island, BC, this versatile blend works beautifully sprinkled over salads, rice, roasted vegetables, eggs, seafood, soups, and grain bowls.

While most of the world’s salt is mined from non-renewable sources, our sea salt originates from the Benguela current in the Antarctic Ocean, on the West Coast of South Africa. The water flows through layers of shells into a deep aquifer. This natural process purifies the water and increases the abundance of minerals, while removing micro-plastics and other contaminants. This pristine brine is sun and wind-dried and the crystals are hand-harvested by our South African fair trade partners, never machine cut or ground. Our Sea Salt is unrefined and free from additives or preservatives.
